About the Course
The Outdoor Pursuits 16 Hour First Aid course is aligned with the Institute for Outdoor Learning (IOL) Statement of Good Practice on Outdoor First Aid at Band 3.
The contents of this course will cover primary and secondary care and are adapted to the outdoor world where the emergency services may be harder to access. We also offer a 1-day course or other specific workplace courses that will meet your needs.
We offer this course as a classroom or blended course, where students complete our Activity First Aid online, blended part 1 course then attend a classroom course to practice the skills that have been learnt online.
All our first aid courses fully meet the UK and European Resuscitation Council Guidelines 2021 as per the HSE requirements.
The content of this and all our courses has been independently certified as conforming to universally accepted Continuous Professional Development (CPD) guidelines and come with a Certified CPD Statement as well as a ProTrainings Certificate and for online courses an Evidence Based Learning statement.
